Orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) is a specialized approach aimed at correcting the function and patterns of the tongue, lips, and facial muscles.

OMT is often utilized to address issues such as tongue thrusting, sleep apnea, challenges while eating, and orthodontic problems. By employing exercises and techniques, OMT helps to promote optimal oral posture, improve muscle coordination, and facilitate proper swallowing.

This type of therapy targets eliminating any and all oral habits in a fun and engaging way.

If your child struggles with oral habits such as thumb sucking, using a pacifier, nail biting, or excessive mouth breathing, we can typically eliminate these habits in a matter of weeks, not months.

Free screenings are an optional service for parents who aren’t sure whether their child has a speech or feeding delay.

These sessions are completed via telehealth and typically take around 15 minutes.
